Counseling

Diane Raudensky

Hi!  My name is Diane Raudensky and I am the volunteer counselor for CPYM.  I have a bachelor’s degree from Messiah College in Music and Christian Education and a master’s degree from Evangelical Theological Seminary in marriage and family counseling.  I recently closed my private practice and am looking forward to volunteering with CPYM.  It is my desire to help teenagers and young adults have a close, committed, intentional relationship with Jesus.

Some of the things I enjoy doing in addition to Christian counseling are:  hiking, biking, hunting, photography, playing piano and cello, collecting vinyl records and reading.  My favorite book is the Bible.  I love all of The Word but particularly like the Gospel of Luke, Acts, and Proverbs.  However, my favorite verse in the Bible is:  Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God.”  This verse has helped me through many difficult times.

I have been married for many years to a wonderful guy, Andy.  Andy and I have many of the same interests.  We live in Juniata County, in a log house, in the woods of the Tuscarora Mountains with our yellow lab, Gus.  We have one daughter, a son-in-law, and two very active grandkids.  They live in Massachusetts.

I hope if you have difficulties with relationships, sexuality, family, drugs, alcohol, or faith struggles, that you will give me a call.  I am meeting with teens at the Youth Center, Thompsontown.  I look forward to meeting you! 717-712-6536
