Shirey Little

Executive Director and Perry County Director

A woodworker by trade, Shirey dedicated his life to The Great Commission in 1991, alongside his best friend who later became his wife, Charlotte.  With shepherding from their pastor, they helped with the children & youth ministries, soon realizing the tremendous need for youth volunteers and their passion to reach the youth and share The Gospel Message filled with Hope.  In 1999, Shirey was presented the opportunity to step into full-time missions with Central PA Youth Ministries of Perry County.  With many prayers & much faith, Shirey & his family were in agreement to love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul, mind, strength, and love their neighbor as themselves by committing to lay down a paycheck and trust their God to provide for their needs.   This non-profit organization opens opportunities for Shirey to offer Biblical Worldview, faith-based encouragement and support to our youth through athletics, outdoor activities, youth camps, conferences, events, Small Groups, Clubs, Community Service Projects, Missions Projects, implementing student-inspired ministries, and simply being available.  In 2021, with the retirement of C.P.Y.M.’s Executive Director, Shirey was asked to adopt this role in this ministry.

Shirey & Charlotte reside outside of Millerstown, dedicated to having an open home for the honor & glory of God.  An avid health enthusiast, he is also a CFLT L1 & strength and conditioning coach. Together, Shirey & Charlotte love to simply live out Acts 2:42, “devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” There is no greater joy than to be about our Heavenly Father’s business, seek first His Kingdom, and witness multitudes choose to be Ambassador’s for Jesus Christ.  To God be the glory!
